Bedford Laboratories Begins Shipping Sumatriptan Succinate Injection
Bedford, OH - February 25, 2009 - Bedford Laboratories™, a division of Ben Venue Laboratories, Inc., announced FDA approval to begin shipping Sumatriptan Succinate Injection. This product is AP rated and equivalent to Imitrex® by GlaxoSmithKline. Sumatriptan is a vascular headache suppressant indicated for 1) the acute treatment of migrane attacks with or without aura and 2) the acute treatment of cluster headache episodes. Sumatriptan Succinate Injection is not for use in the management of hemiplegic or basilar migrane.
